From a holiday to Uganda, the Democratic New York City Mayor candidate Zoharan Mamdani dodged the questions of reporters on Wednesday morning, killing four about a collective shooting, including 36 -year -old NYPD officer Didarul Islam.
Mamdani, a socialist who has previously asked the police to save and met the officer’s family on Wednesday morning to dissolve a special unit that responded to a large -scale firing, but avoided questions from reporters after the meeting. The candidate spent an hour with the family of Islam, according to The New York Post,
He was photographed to embrace one of the family members of the deceased officer.

On Monday evening, a lonely gunman, which was later identified as Shane Tamura, went into a Midtown Manhattan office building and set fire to four people before the gun.
Four people killed in shooting were identified as Islam, Blackstone’s executive Wesley Leptar, security guards Aland Eye and Julia Hymen, who were an associate of Rudin Management.
While living in Uganda, Mamdani responded to the shooting said, “I am heartbroken to learn about the horrific shooting in Midtown, and I am catching the victims, their families and NYPD officer in my views.”

After shooting, Mamdani is renewed to a recent focus to a pledge to eliminate the NYPD’s strategic response group, which is a major police department responsible for riots, civil disorders and firing.
In December, Mammadani claimed that NYPD had deployed SRG in “Horse + Arrest Strikeing @Teamsters”.
Mammadani promised, “As the mayor, I will dissolve SRG, in which taxpayers spend millions in trial settlements + cruel countless new Yorkers exercised their first amendments.”
