New York City Democratic Mayorel Nominee Zoharan Mamdani made House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffrees, DN.Y., and Rape Yatete Clarke, DN.Y. Met on Tuesday on Tuesday, as New York Democrats continue to stop their support before the November elections.
Mamdani Abhiyan spokesman Dora Packk told Fox News, “Zohran joined Congresswoman Clarke and Congress Jeffrees to meet with black priest leaders of Central Brooklyn today.”
Jeffrees and Clarke are one of the Democratic leaders, including Gove Kathy Hochul and Senate Minority Leader Sen Chak Shumar, who has so far supported the Mamdani after his primary victory in June.
“They are engaged in a comprehensive discussion on many issues, including immediate ability crisis and migration of Black New Yorkers from five boro-and Zoharan shared his agenda, to ensure that each New Yorker could risk calling the city home and living a life of dignity,” said by Mamdani’s campaign.

Tuesday’s meeting was held at a church in Beford-Stuvenes, Brooklyn, which is at the center of the Congress district of Jeffrees. Clarke, who represents parts of Brooklyn, is the President of Black Congress Cocks.
Jeffrees responds to NYC Mayor not yet supported Mamdani
“I think there was a very meaningful exchange,” Clarke Told NY1 after meeting“Assemblyman Mammadani has a platform on which he is running, and he wanted to know how they apply to communities in which they live.”
Clarke stated that the pastor “wanted an intimate setting, where he could actually talk to his living experiences, living experiences of his congregation.”
She had told the same outlet last month to ask Mamdani about her previous refusal that she refused to condemn the word “intifada a global”, a word that she said that she would discourage using others.
“I think it is best that I have this conversation so that my credibility between my components, you know, intact,” He told NY1Referring to the large Jewish community in his Brooklyn district.

Jeffrees met with Mamdani earlier this year, but the House Minority Leader has stopped supporting the self-known Democratic Socialist candidate.
Jeffrees confirmed CNN’s plan to meet the “State of the Union” on Sunday this week, while reiterating his first meeting with Mamdani in July was “very clear and creative and community-centered.”
“I don’t think we have supported one,” Jeffrees said. “We are engaged in a conversation about the future of New York City, about issues that need to be addressed.”

While the two Democrats stopped supporting Mamdani after their meeting on Tuesday, other Democrats in New York, including reps. Alexandria Okasio-Cortes, Nadia Velzkese, Jerry Nudler and Adriano Espilat have thrown their political weight behind the 33-year-old candidate.
Mammadani traveled to Washington, DC before this summer, where Mayor Hopful and Okasio-Cortez hosted breakfast with National Democrats. Mammadani met with several progressive leaders, including Sen Berney Sanders, early supporters of his campaign.

Nevertheless, New York Democratic Reps. Tom Suzozi, Dan Goldman, Gregory Meex, Richie Torres, George Latimer and Grace Meng have not yet been supported by Mamdani.
Fox News reached Jeffrees and Clarke for digital comment, but did not immediately respond.
