President Volodimier Zelansky has stated that Ukraine would reject any Russian proposal to leave the Donbas region in exchange for a ceasefire, warning that it can be used as a springboard for future attacks.
Zelansky was speaking before a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alanski on Friday.
Trump has said that any peace deal will include “some swapping of the states” and it is believed that one of the demands of Putin is that Kiev surrenders some parts of Donbas which still controls.
Meanwhile, Russian soldiers continued aggressive in their summer, which has a sudden emphasis near the eastern city of Dobropilia and extended 10 km (six miles) in a short period of time.
Zelansky admitted that the advance was in “many places”, but said that Kiev would soon destroy the units involved in the attack.
Reducing the advances of Russia, he said that it was “clear” that Moscow’s purpose was to make “a certain information place” before meeting Putin that “Russia is moving ahead, moving forward, moving, while Ukraine is losing”.
No official details have been revealed on the demands of Vladimir Putin on meeting Donald Trump in Encourage on Friday.
Donbas – Made from the eastern regions of Luhansk and Donnetsk – has been partially captured by Russia since 2014.
Moscow now holds almost all Luhanskas and about 70% of Donnetsk, but while speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Zelancesi again confirmed that Ukraine would reject any offer to leave Donbas.
“If we move away from Donbas today – our fortifications, our territory, we control the heights – we will clearly open a pullhead to prepare an aggressive for the Russians,” he said.
Zelansky earlier stressed that Ukrainian “would not gift his land to occupy the occupiers”, and pointed to the constitution of the country, which requires a referendum before a change in its territory.
At his night address on Tuesday, Zelancesi also said that Moscow was preparing new crimes on three parts of the front – Zaporizhjia, Pokrovsk and Novopavalov areas.
Last week, Trump said that “Russia and Ukraine will have some swapping for the betterment of both Russia and Ukraine – Kyiv and Sparking concern across Europe That Moscow may be allowed to resume Ukraine boundaries by force.
Russia currently controls less than 20% of the Ukrainian region.
The White House said on Tuesday that the Alaska talks would be a “hearing practice” for Trump and will be added and Putin will sit in the same room, “will give the US President the best signal to end this war”.
It seems to reduce Trump as a “feel-out meeting” on Monday, to reduce expectations that Friday’s meeting can bring Ukraine and Russia closer to peace.
When he announced the summit last week, Trump seemed positive that there could be concrete steps towards peace as a result of the meeting.
“I think my intestine instinct actually tells me that we have a shot on it,” he said.
But Ukrainian President Zelanski once again expressed serious doubts that the talks could have positive results for the Kev, which is excluded from the summit. “I don’t know what they would talk without us,” he said.
Zelancesi has clearly stepped up about criticizing Trump, but his disappointment has become clear when there was a sideline in recent times, and on Tuesday he said that Alaska’s choice was a “personal victory” for Putin as a place.
“He is coming out of isolation, as they are meeting with him on the American region,” he said.
The Ukrainian leader has earlier stated that without Kiv’s participation, any agreement will be for “dead decision”.
On Wednesday, Zelansky is due to Donald Trump, European Union leaders, UK Prime Minister Sir Kirs Stmper and NATO’s head Mark Rute to attend a virtual meeting.
All sides will try to convince Trump that when the two meet in a hurry on organized peak, there is no need to flow by Putin.
