After the Friday meeting of the US President at Aankorez, Alaska with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelancesi will visit the White House to meet with President Donald Trump on Monday.
The journey has first returned to the White House since February, where he openly provoked the struggle to end the struggle with Trump and Vice President JD Vance to engage in diplomacy with Russia at the Oval Office. The encounter inspired Vance to ask the Ukrainian leader whether he said “thanks after this whole meeting.”
After Zelancesi challenged Vance’s statements, stressful exchange began that diplomacy was the right way to end the struggle. Zelansky questioned the value of diplomacy, and said that Putin has broken other agreements in the past.

“What kind of diplomacy, JD, you are speaking about?” Zelansky said. “what do you mean?”
Vance said, “I am talking about the kind of diplomacy that is going to end the destruction of your country.”
“Mr. President, with respect, I think it is derogatory to you to try to try to make a litigation in front of American media,” Vance said. “Right now, you guys are going around and forcing the concept on the lines of the front because you have a problem of manpower. You should thank the President for bringing it, to bring it to this country.”
“Have you ever gone to Ukraine, that you say what problems we have?” Zelansky said.
“I really saw and seen stories and I know what happens you bring people, you bring them on a promotion tour,” Vance said. “Mr. President, do you disagree that you have a problem in bringing people into your army? And do you think coming to the Oval office of the United States and attacking the administration that is trying to stop the destruction of your country?”

The exchange inspired Trump to temporarily stop peace talks, saying that the Zelanceci could return to the White House when he was “ready” for peace. After his departure from the White House, Zelancesi posted a statement on X thanking the US, Trump, Congress and American people for his support for Ukraine.
Unlike the meeting in February, Zelancesi will be included by other European leaders on Monday, supporting Ukraine, including British Prime Minister Kir Stmper, European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO general secretary Mark Rute.
Meanwhile, Trump said it depends on Zelancesi whether the war with Russia has ended, and it has been determined that doing so would require some land concessions for Russia. He also rejected NATO membership for Ukraine under a possible peace deal.

Trump said in a Sunday post on social media, “The President of Ukraine can end the war almost immediately with Russia, if he wants, or he can continue to fight,” Trump said in a Sunday post on social media. “Remember how it started. No one is getting back Obama (12 years ago, without a bullet without a bullet!), And not going to NATO by Ukraine. Some things never change !!!”
Nevertheless, American Special Envoy Steve Witcoff said on Sunday that Putin agreed to allow the US and other European colleagues to provide well -organized security for Ukraine, for safety introduced under Article 5 mutual defense clause of NATO.
“We were able to win the following concessions that the United States could provide protection like Article 5, which Ukraine wants to be in NATO,” said in an interview with CNN.
