Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in an industrial estate in Smethwick.
Shara Miller, 41, was found on Monday from Woodburn Road after 06:10 BST and confirmed the dead at the scene, police said.
After interrogation, three men, 29, 31 and 38 were detained. They remain in custody for questioning.
The West Midlands Force said that Ms. Miller was killed in the early hours of Monday morning where her body was discovered in the early hours of Monday morning.
A police spokesperson said: “His loved ones are being supported by specially trained officers and our views are with him in this terrible time.”
The force is asking the public for any information around the movements of Ms. Miller before 01:00 BST on Monday.
DET Chief Inspect Alestair Orencus from the Force’s Homeoid Unit said: “We have made some significant progress in our investigation and now there are three people in custody.
“However, we still want to hear from anyone, who talked to him in the hours that saw Sha Sha or his death.
“We understand that she was involved in sex work around Soho Road, Birmingham, area and believes that she must have gone from that place on Woodburn Road.
“If you have any footage or information, and have not come forward yet, please contact us.”
The West Midlands police are increasing patrolling in the area where Ms. Miller was found as assurance around Soho Road.
