A 34 -year -old woman has accused a person who died after a fire in Ballimoni at a county entrance.
Patrick ‘Paddy’ Douglas, a 55 -year -old, who launched a tattoo business in the area for several years, died in the hospital on Tuesday.
On Saturday in the Ballimana Magistrate Court, the judge said that the woman accused of killing her could not be nominated for legal reasons.
During a brief hearing, the woman only talked to confirm her name.
Police told the court that forensic experts believe that the fire could be caused by direct ignition.
A defense counsel argued that the forensic report also stated that there could be an electrical defect.
No application was made for bail and the woman is scheduled to appear again on 28 July.
Shortly before 07:00 BST on Tuesday, Mr. Douglas was found injured after calling an emergency services for an explosion at Main Street in Ballimony.
Firefighters wearing breathing equipment entered the building, set fire and removed Mr. Douglas.
He died later that day.
