Health Secretary Wes Streeting is promising to continue NHS services, which is running as a five -day walkout by doctors resident doctors in England.
He said disintegration NHS England will keep the hospitals to the minimum after ordering treatment under extraordinary circumstances only.
In previous attacks, emergency care has been focused on staffing but this time NHS is trying To keep non-essential services running. Senior doctors are covering doctors – new words for junior doctors which are striking – 12th time in salary dispute.
The British Medical Association warned that the risk thinning the employees greatly, stating that the ministers had every opportunity to stop the walkout.
Writing in front of the strike, Prime Minister Sir Kir Stmper Resident doctors urged not to follow their union under the “harmful road” of strike action,
Despite the efforts being made by NHS leaders, he said Walkout would be “heavy losses for NHS and the country”, as they criticized the British Medical Association (BMA), who “running away” in the strike.
Sir Kir said Walkout threatened that “to return the progress we have made in the reconstruction of NHS compared to last year”.
Streeting said: “There is no one around the fact that these attacks will hit the progress we are making in starting the NHS round.”
But he said: “I am firm to keep patients up to minimum interference.”
The members of the public have been urged to come forward for NHS care during the walkout, and are being asked to participate in the appointments until they are canceled.
NHS England said GP surgery would open as usual and immediate care and A&E will be available, with NHS 111, NHS England said.
The strike is moving forward after a talks between the government and the BMA on Tuesday.
Those dialogues were focused on non-paying issues, such as the cost of progress of examination fees and career, Streeting said that salary was not open to negotiation.
BMA says, despite an increase of 22% in the last two years this year, despite the average salary increase of 5.4% this year, the salary in fifth place since 2008 is still lower, once inflation is taken into consideration.
Now after finishing his medical degree resident doctors in England, during his first foundation year Earn the basic salary of £ 38,831Worked an average of 48 hours per week. In the second year, it increases to £ 44,439. The salary by the end of training is more than £ 73,000.

BMA resident doctor’s co-leader Dr. Melissa Ryan and Dr. Ross Neuvoud said: “The resident doctors are no less than 17 years ago.
“Restoration of salary remains the simplest and most effective path towards improving our working life.
“Mr. Streeting had every chance to stop this strike from moving forward, but he did not choose to take it.”
The previous walkouts have led to massive cancellation, with over a million appointments and treatment canceled, earlier began in March 2023.
Some hospitals were able to pay half the amount of their general care only during the strike days.
But NHS sources said, this time, some hospitals were planning a complete program after a new approach to prioritize both emergency and non-essential care.
“We have learned a lesson from previous attacks – it will look very different,” he said.
Prof. Meghana Pandit, a director of NHS England, said: “It is really important to reduce the cancellation, because people have been waiting, sometimes for their regular hip replacement or hysterectomy or any appointment, and re -starting appointments affect them and cause physical and psychological disadvantages.”
But he said it was unavoidable that there would still be some disruption, although he warned patients to use NHS if they need it.
While most resident doctors work in hospitals, some GP practices and community services may also be affected. Resident doctors represent about half of the medical workforce.
One of them who has been affected is 32 -year -old Hasnain Shahid of Bradford, whose three -year -old daughter performed her lung surgery on Monday.
She has a rare lung condition that means that if she catches a cough or cold, she can be at serious risk.
“It is an emotional rollercaster. It’s very disappointing,” said Hasanan.
However, BMA has warned that the new perspective may lead to even more problems and risk protection.
It has written to NHS England to say that employees who are working can be very diluted. The Sangh said that it would be better to reduce non-essential care as it has happened before.
But the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NHS providers, Saffron Cordry, who represent hospitals, said that while trying to run hospital services, it would be done within the “rigorous security guidelines”.
He said that the situation was complicated by the fact that doctors were not obliged to say whether they were changing or not.
“No one will know until they really turn to their innings.”
About two -thirds of doctors are BMA members.
Conservative Shadow Health Secretary Stuart Andrew said the attacks threatened to pull hospitals into anarchy and leave patients “dangerously exposed”.
“Union Demands opened its door last year to Labor’s spinless surrender.
“He handed over inflation-staging salary increase without improvement and now BMA is back for more.”
But Rory Dietan of NHS Confederation, which represent the frontline health managers, said: “The effect and crisis of these attacks will rest patients with BMA.”
