Former Los Angeles fire chief Christin Crole has claimed against the city, accusing Mayor Karen Bass of engaging against him in a “smear campaign”.

At a press conference in February, the mayor said the chairman of the Fire Commission asked Crole to report an action about the fire, but Croleley “refused.” Bass also said, “We all know that a thousand firefighters who could have been on duty in the morning, instead of extinguishing the fire, were sent homes on the main crosses of the main cross.
