New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi doubled on Wednesday on his “vote theft”, confirming that “beyond suspicion” would prove to be “stealing” the ruling BJP elections.During the Adhikar Yatra with his vote in Muzaffarpur in Pol-Bound Bihar, the Lok Sabha leader of the opposition alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Election Commission of India (ECI) are “stealing”. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the entire model (“theft of votes”) has been named the Gujarat model, saying that Bihar would put “the end of vote theft”.“In the coming days, we will prove you beyond a doubt that Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Chief Election Commissioner are stealing votes … We will inform you within the next six months that they have developed a model of theft in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, which they have named the Gujarat model … will show the young PM of Bihar to show the ‘Vote theft’, “Rae Bareli MP was quoted by news agency Annie.Earlier, the Congress leader called the “Gujarat model” a “model of vote-chori”. He said, “This (‘vote theft’) was happening in Gujarat before 2014. They brought it to the national level in 2014. The Gujarat model is not an economic model, it is a model to steal votes,” she said at a rally in Muzaffarpur. PM Modi’s election victory, Gandhi alleged, was created on “cutting votes and adding (fake) voters” with the help of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and ECI. He reiterated his allegation that the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra, as well as in the Lok Sabha elections, were “stolen” in favor of the BJP with the ECI’s “complexity”. “We didn’t say anything because we had no evidence. But we found evidence in Maharashtra because they remove it from there. The ECI added about 1 crore more votes in Maharashtra after the Lok Sabha elections. They all went to the BJP. We will show you with evidence how Harine, Maharashtra and Lok Sabha elections were.” Rahul Gandhi, who is on a statewide “voter Adhikar Yatra” ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, joined his colleague and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who echoed his charge against the pole panel. The 16-day March 1 will conclude with a mega rally at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna on 1 September, which is expected to participate by leaders of Congress-led India Block.
