Former White House physician Kevin O’Coner, who worked as a doctor of former President Joe Biden, requested the House Overseas Committee to delay his upcoming testimony this week.
The O’Coner was scheduled to testify on Wednesday, but is now in disagreement with the committee on the scope of questions that will expect to respond during their testimony. Committee, Chairman James Cummer, R-K. Under the leadership of, Biden’s mental fitness and their administration are interviewing the doctor as part of the investigation of the use of an autopan.
A lawyer of O’Coner requested the Delay in the letter to the Commerce on July 28 or 4 August.
The letter states, “Dr. O’Coner has legal and moral obligations that they should satisfy and for whom violations are professional and personally serious consequences for them.”

“We are unaware of any prior opportunity, on which a Congress committee has sub-satisfied a doctor to testify about the treatment of a personal patient. And the belief that a Congress committee will do so without any relationship that is dangerous for the secrecy of a doctor-family relationship.”
A spokesperson of the oversite committee replied in a statement to NBC News that O’Coner and his legal team were only trying to “stonewell” the process.
The committee said that O’Coner objected to personal questions during his testimony. But O’Coner is not allowed, in the committee’s perspective, to delay or reject a Congress sub -drinking due to concerns about potential privileged information.

The debate on O’Coner’s testimony comes a few weeks later after Biden’s former top ally, Neera Tanden told the oversight committee that she was authorized to direct the autopan signature, but was unaware of who was giving her final approval in the President’s internal circle.
During the interview of Tanden before the Congress last month, which lasted for more than five hours, he told the MPs that, between 2021 and 2023, as former President’s Employees Secretary and Senior Advisor, he was authorized for a direct autopen signature from Biden, an overseas committee official told Fox News.

“Ms. Tanden testified that he spoke to President Biden at least, despite tremendous rights,” the Commerce said. “She explained that to get approval for autopan signature, she sends the decision memo to the members of the President’s internal circle and what happened between sending the memo and getting it back with approval. There was no visibility. Serious questions about his testimony as the President was really calling the shots.”
