White House is insisting on rebrapping the Pentagon, on Saturday, confirming the plan to change the name of the Defense Department, Wall Street Journal First Informed,
The war department was established by the Congress in August 1789 to operate and maintain the maintenance of military branches. After a brief name change in the National Military Establishment after World War II, it was converted into the Department of Defense.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told Fox News that the change occurs amid the restoration of American military values.
“As President [Donald] Trump said, “Our army should be focused on crime – not only defense – that’s why he has given priority to the war in the Pentagon instead of DEE and awakened the ideology,” Kelly has written in a statement. ” Stay! ,

Trump said that the name change was announced after “either in the next week”.
“You know, we call it the Defense Department, but among us, I think we are going to change the name,” the President said in the first White House in the week. “You want to know the truth, I think we are going to get some information on it, maybe soon.”

Trump noted the historical significance of the department’s name during both world wars.
“We won the First World War [and] World War II. It was called the war department. For me, what really is, “he said.” I am talking to people. Everyone likes it. When it was a war department, we had an incredible history of victory. Then we converted it into Defense Department. ,

The Senate Trump proceeds to curb the ups and downs of the administration.
The Congress creates a federal executive department by law, so an amendment will be required to legally change the name.
Trump said, “I am sure the Congress will be with him if we need it. I don’t think we need it too. But if we need it, I am sure that the Congress will go with,” Trump said. “Defense is very defensive. And we want to be defensive, but we also want to be aggressive if we have to be. So, it seemed just as a better name to me.”

The President may recommend the law to make the change official or may be informally rebrands without approval.
