RAF’s red arrow – one of the world’s major aerobatic display teams – the inspiration for a group of men and women.
“Red Barrows” have not received aircraft, but they have wheelbro to “Prose-Flying”. They describe themselves as “red arrows, but slow and low”.
Even they have their own on the famous red flying suit of pilots and are known to use the ramp and a circle for their performance.
Flt Lt Ololie Cockling, Red 9, and Flt Lt Dustin Wales, Red 5, which are located in Raf Waddington of Linkenshire, reviewed the group’s performance to BBC.
