A couple who arrived at an Oasis concert a few hours after their wedding, said that fans were “clapping and cheering” for them as they made their way for the gig.
Kim and Gareth Gladman tied the knot before catching the afternoon train to Manchester in their wedding outfits at Leeds Civic Hall on Saturday morning.
He then took the tram to Heton Park to return home to the band, which he described as “unrealistic and luxurious”.
Mrs. Gladman said: “Everyone was sociable and was congratulating us, best wishes us well. So many people wanted pictures! It was just amazing.”
The couple, who have been together for 12 years and have two children, have fans of Oasis since childhood.
He got a ticket to return to Manchester band’s house after Mr. Gladman’s father secured him to book tickets in last year’s scrambal.
Mrs. Gladman said that her companions were “absolutely Gobsmack” at that time, he said: “He said ‘Oh this is going to be the best day of my life’.
“I said,” Imagine well that if you get married in the morning, it will definitely be the best day of your life. “
Launched as a “off-the-kap joke”, quickly turned into reality as Mr. Gladman immediately booked his wedding ceremony slot online with the day of Heton Park Gig.
After her nuptiles at Manchester Victoria railway station and still joining the confession, she said: “Whatever the album I bought earlier, one of them was Oasis album.
“It has been a part of my life forever, so it can’t be more correct today – get married and see them live.”
Mrs. Gladman’s sister is hosting a barbecue for her 60 guests as the couple traveled to the gig.
The bride said that her family and friends were “assistants”, saying: “They love it, they know that we are bizarre – we like to live on the shore.”
As part of her wedding organization, Mrs. Gladman, who works as a dressmaker, prepared a denim jacket with songs from her favorite Oasis song “Live Forever”.
About the concert, he said: “The atmosphere was absolutely incredible!
“The day was perfect! We could not ask anymore.”
