The Reform UK has accused the Chief Executive Officer of the Warwickshire County Council on the Chief Executive Officer of a “coup”, which is in a line to remove a progress flag.
Zia Yusuf, head of the Reforms Department of Government Efficiency, claimed that Monica Phogartha refused to remove the flag before the end of the pride from outside the council’s poet hall headquarters in Warwick.
Acting Correction Warvikshire leader George Finch asked the Chief Executive Officer of the Council for the flag, including the Trans Rights Movement and the colors of traditional rainbow colors, which are to be removed.
But the chief executive said in an email response to Finch that he is responsible for such decisions.
Finch requested After changing Rob Howard 18 -year -old, who left the post after just five weeks in the role,
Ms. Phogartha said: “I am afraid that I will not take the action you are requesting” to add that she “did not see any reason” to deviate from the policy of flying the annual flag during the pride chain.
He said: “This council does not have a formal policy around deciding on the flight of the flag” and suggested that the leader should find the council so that he should vote for one.
Nigel Faraj, Reform UK Leader, Said on x: “This undisclosed bureaucrat thinks that she knows better than people.
“Perhaps Monica Phogartha should look for a new job.”
He said that his party would “fight back and fight”.
His idea is supported by the leader of the Green Party in Warwickshire.
Group leader Jonathan Chilwars said: “Leaders, let’s go to interim leaders alone, based on what he had eaten for breakfast that morning, you cannot make a decision on the basis of that – this is dictatorship.”
Mr. Yusuf accused Ms. Phogartha of acting like “Warvikshire’s Monarch” and “Democracy’s sabotage”.
He added his belief that “disabled bureaucrats” “had confiscated the control of the country.”
After the local elections in May, Joseph said: “Improvement-controlled English councils will move at a pace, to resolve that the only flag allowed to fly in its buildings or in its buildings would be the flag of Union Jack and St. George.”
The council does not have a overall control in the Warvikshire in reform, although it is the largest party.
The progress flag from the poet hall has been removed after the end of the Pride Month.
Both Councilor Finch and Ms. Phogartha have been contacted by BBC for comment.
The leader of a new reform group is expected to be selected by the party in the coming days, with a formal appointment as a council leader due to being in the full council meeting on 22 July.
