New Delhi: Accusing the BJP of “petty mentality” and “illegalness”, the Congress on Saturday said in the government’s decision to ignore the notice to remove the judicial Yashwant Verma in the Rajya Sabha that in favor of one presented in the Lok Sabha, it has been decided by the desire to control the story about the issue, which refers to the “unprotected”. The LS notice is bilateral signed by 152 MPs, while one in RS is particularly signed by opposition members.Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi slammed the announcement of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, alleging that it is now clear that the independent Act on the Verma issue of former RS President Jagdeep Dhankhar instigated the Modi government and resulted in as a result. Rijiju said that RS had not “accepted” the notice, Singhvi said that Dhankhar had mentioned the notice in the House on Monday that it was talking about meeting legal and numerical requirements, which was the same to accept it. The Congress MP asked the government whether RS should give a long decision like a judicial court to show “admission”.Interestingly, a senior advocate, Sinhali alleged that BJP MPs on Monday signed an empty paper in the room of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, which was “impeachment notice against Dhankar”. He warned that the government can do a major violation by forming a legal committee to investigate Verma, especially on LS notice.
