Fans who watch heroic matches on Twitch will soon get more than just entertainment; They will also have a chance to make predictions during live games and earning prizes for their accuracy. RioT Games is launching a new feature called Shotcall, a system designed to bring audience interactions directly into the match experience.
Prophets during live matches
The Reous Games introduced ‘Shotol’ on 5 August 2025 through its official channels. Shotol is a twitch extension that allows the audience to predict the specific in-game event during live asports broadcast. This feature begins on August 8 with a test session, with more sessions later a month.

During a match, the system automatically generates questions, which allows users to make predictions such as which the team will win, which player will get the first murder, or how much can a player be killed to score in a round. Viewers can also bet on high pressure moments such as clutch rounds. Points are provided based on the difficulty of each correct estimate, and these points determine the place of a user on the leaderboard.

How does shocol beta works
The beta version of Shotol is available to anyone who sees bravery on the desktop through the official VCT America Twitch Channel. When a match is live, a red crystal ball will appear in the top-left corner of the icon stream. Clicking on the icon establishes Shotol Twitch extensions. Once established, the audience can start making predictions throughout the stages throughout the match.
To participate fully, the audience must add their riot and twitch accounts. The prediction window will open automatically in important moments in the game, which will provide users several opportunities to make real -time calls.

Awards & Leaderboard
The system includes a leaderboard that tracks top artists depending on accumulated points. Riot Games have confirmed that high ranked participants will receive prizes, although the details about the awards have not yet been revealed. These may include cosmetic items such as player banners, profile icons, or themed weapon skins.
Although Shotall is still under development, rioting is encouraging fans to register early for beta. The objective of this initiative is to change the esports viewership by replacing predictions in a competitive feature with real incentives.
