Officials said the USS New Orleans warship caught fire from the coast of Okinawa in Japan on Wednesday, causing minor injuries to two sailors.
The 7th fleet of the US Navy said in a statement that the fire was burnt in a fire of about 12 hours in the fire in San Antonio-Class AMFIBIS Transport Dock, which was extinguished in the White Beach Naval Facility in Okinawa for about 12 hours, before the Blaze was extinguished on Thursday morning.
The fire is under investigation on the 684 -foot -long vessel.
Two sailors were treated for minor injuries, but no details about injuries were provided immediately.

The Navy said its crew would be riding on the ship. The USS New Orleans, which was commissioned in 2007, can catch 800 people.

A Navy report concluded in the case that there were extensive failures by commanders, crew members and others. The ship was abandoned with extensive structural, electrical and mechanical damage and was later eliminated.
