A student of Massachusetts-ISERST who was a Congress student intern, was killed in triple shooting in Washington, DC on Monday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Eric Torpinion-Jachim, 21-year-old, a senior, who was studying in finance with a minor in political science, died in a hospital after being one of the three people in the hospital.
He was a granby, Massachusetts, resident, who, according to the police, started intending for the US Rape Ron Estase, R-era in June.

Estase and his wife, Susan, issued a statement that expressed their deep condolences and prayers for the Torpinian-Jachim’s family.
“I will remember his kind heart and how he always congratulated anyone, who entered our office with a cheerful smile,” said Estase. “We are grateful to Eric for his service for the 4th district and country of Canasus. Please join Susan and I pray for my family and honor his privacy during this heartbreaking time.”
State Committee Chris Ryan also issued a statement on behalf of the Massachusetts Republican Party, saying, “DC Congress student Inar and Granby resident Eric Torpinion-Jachim’s disadvantage is a disadvantage for Massachusetts and our nation. Their family is now without its son, and Massachusetts will be a key to Amhast University.”

He said that “Massachusetts Republican Party expands its deep sufferings to its family and rape Ron Estase (R-KS) office, all of which are mourning the passage of this bright and talented youth.”

Fund for American Studies sympathized for the Torpinion-Jachim, which was once part of a group of students who completed the Washington Fellowship.
The group said, “Fund Eric Torpinian-Jachim’s tragic and untimely death is heartbroken. Eric was one of a select group of students who attended the Washington Fellowship from January to April 2025,” the group said. “He was a hardworking intern, a dedicated student and was well thought out by his companions. Our thoughts and prayers go out for his family and friends.”

A reward of up to $ 25,000 is available to anyone who provides information for the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
