UFC star Connor McGregor has not fought the fight since July 2021, but his eyes may be set at a marquee event next year.
President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that there will be a UFC fight at the White House ground next year, McGregor reacted to the news with eagerness to participate on social media.

“Happy July 4, USA. Encouraged by President Trump, Trump announced a UFC Fight event at the White House. I will be honored! Count me!” McGregor wrote on X.
McGregor later shared his post again with a picture of him and Trump at the Oval Office.
In March, McGregor said he would also run for the President of his country of Ireland.
On Friday, the fighter followed his post, expressing interest with an bold prediction about participating in the White House battle next year as the sitting president of the country on his post.
“July 4 is a Saturday a Saturday, about the program of President Trump UFC White House. I will rule the President of Ireland for less than 1 year, when I will get out to throw out on the lawn of the White House. The epic ratio! In March, McGregor visited the White House and criticized the Irish government in an attempt to raise awareness about “Ireland people in front of people”.
“Our government has long abandoned the voice of the people of Ireland, and it is a high time that the US has been made aware of what is going on in Ireland. What is going on in Ireland is a crisis. Our government is a government of zero action and zero accountability,” he said during a presence on 20 March.
In terms of his fighting career, McGregor made his comeback to the Octagon after his first attempt in June after his first attempt due to his first attempt.

“I will come back only to a stadium,” he wrote in a post on X after WrestleMania 41, which was held at the Eleagant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The 36 -year -old McGragger last fought in 2021, when he lost to Dustin Pairor after breaking his leg during the fight. He was slated to fight Michael Chandler in UFC 303 in June, but the fight was closed after breaking his toe during training.
