Established under law number 30 of 2023, Parkin PJSC became an operational unit for public payment parking in Dubai. As part of a 49 -year concession with roads and transport authority (RTA), Parkin manages around 209,000 payments and developers owned parking locations, including roadside, plots and multistory features. The company is responsible for membership, permit, enforcement and digital platform operations. It recently signed a memorandum with Dubai Municipality to manage some municipal parking areas.

Free mosque parking : A first type of initiative
From August 2025, Parkin will manage 2,100 parking places in 59 mosques in Dubai through a historic agreement with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activity Department (IACAD). They are designated as 41 Zone Me (standard) and 18 zone MP (premium) locations.
- Prayers are entitled to one hour free parking during prayers, usually 15 minutes before the Aden and 45 minutes later.
- Outside these hours, standard tariffs are applied: DH2 per 30 minutes / DH4 per hour which in Zone M, and DH3-DH6 depends on the summit / off-pick time in the zone MP.
- The rollout is phased and clearly signed at each mosque location.
This system was designed to reduce access to places of worship, reduce the crowd of the area and eliminate the misuse of mosque-adjacent parking sites outside the prayer period.
