The UAE is set to deepen economic relations with Africa through a major tourism investment summit in Dubai this October. Organized under the umbrella of FHS World 2025, the objective of the UAE Africa Tourism Investment Summit is to strengthen cross-containntal cooperation, promote new partnership in tourism and hospitality, and UAE has been ranked as a strategic center to invest in Africa growing markets.
Strategic partnership
The UAE’s economy and the Ministry of Tourism have announced that it will host the UAE Africa Tourism Investment Summit for the first time in Dubai on October 27, 2025. The event will be a central part of FHS World 2025 (Future Hospitality Summit) – a global platform that focuses on investing, innovation and development in hospitality and tourism industries.The summit is part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen economic and tourism participation between UAE and African countries, with special attention to attracting mutual investment in areas such as tourism, hospitality, infrastructure and other related services.According to this purpose, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism signed a memorandum (MoU) with a bench with London -based organizers of FHS World. The agreement was signed in the presence of Abdullah bin Tuk Al Mary, UAE Economy and Tourism Minister. The signators included Badreya Al Madoor, Assistant Understanding for the Assistance Services Sector in the Ministry and Daria Smith, Director in the Portfolio in the bench.Through this partnership, the ministry and the bench will work together to manage the event and promotion of the event, demonstrating investment opportunities in Africa’s diverse tourism scenario.
High level participation and extensive continental representation
The summit is expected to host more than 250 high-level attendees, including:
- Senior government official
- Minister of tourism
- Investment promotion agency representative
- Private sector decision making and investors
All 53 African countries will be represented, one of the most wide tourist-centered meetings of public and private stakeholders in the region.The event is strategically deployed to cement the UAE’s reputation as a reliable investment partner for African countries, which helps create new pipelines for cooperation in important areas for the economic future of the continent.
Common vision for sustainable development and development
Badreya Al Madoor underlined the importance of the summit in running joint development. He said that the program will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and partnership between UAE and African countries, with the aim to carry forward sustainable development through shared interests and project construction.She also aligned the targets of the summit with the UAE national agenda, stating that the initiative supports the ‘V the UAE 2031’ vision, which deploys the UAE as a major global center for the new economy. This national vision emphasizes international cooperation, future-oriented regions and economic stability.
FHS World 2025: A catalyst for regional and global dialogue
The Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) is a global recognized platform that brings major players together in hospitality, travel and tourism fields. Acts as a place for FHS:
