The Dubai Police has taken a significant jump in modernizing public services by opening a new smart police station (SPS) in Dragon Mart. With the move, Dubai further strengthens his position as a global leader in the AI-manual regime, which provides 24/7 access to the residents and visitors to the fully automated, human-free policing services-now at 27 places.
Smart Police Station Concept Concepts: Fully automated, accessible and durable
Smart Police Station (SPS) is the first time innovation in the Middle East. These self-service, unmanned stations work entirely without physical police personnel. Sulabh 24/7, they provide a sharp, contactless and safe option for traditional policing setup. Each SPS enables users to complete the necessary police services digitally – a simple, safe procedure that begins with ID verification, either the Emirates ID (for residents) or passports (for visitors), after the mobile number certification through SMS. For services required to negotiate, users are connected to an on-duty officer through a video interface, with access to facilities such as scanners and printers to complete paperwork.Once the transaction is completed, users receive a reference number through SMS and receipt, allowing easy tracking as requests are routed to suitable police departments for further action.Services are accessible in seven languages- to create user-friendly processes for both Arabian, English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Chinese-Dubai’s multicultural population and international visitors.
