Government Cooperation and Industry Assistance
The DPG33 pavilion in Gamescom will jointly be represented by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), and the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC). These institutions construct the backbone of Dubai’s strategy to integrate innovation, culture and commercial infrastructure to support gaming.
- HH Shekha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktaum, president of Dubai culture, emphasized the role of the pavilion in showing Dubai as a global leader in digital creativity and innovation. He exposed gaming as a powerful Avenue for creative entrepreneurship and economic diversification. Supporting young creatives and entrepreneurs is central for permanent development approach in Dubai’s digital economy.
- Dubai Future Foundation CEO Khalfan Belhol underlined the importance of the clear roadmap of DPG33. He noted the purpose of the program to take advantage of Dubai’s unique competitive benefits and create a supporting environment for innovation and investment.
- Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, stressed that electronic gaming is one of the fastest growing sectors of the creative economy. Through several initiatives, the Dubai culture is committed to empowering youth and emerging talent to enhance its skills and engagement in gaming.
- DMCC Executive Chairman and CEO Ahmed bin Sulem expanded the DMCC’s role in hosting more than 140 gaming companies, representing 40% of Dubai’s gaming industry. DMCC’s gaming centers, a comprehensive technique with over 3,200 members and share of the web3 ecosystem, provides the infrastructure, capital access, licensing solution and industry partnership required to help the regional and global businesses to scale.

riot Games AndXSolla , - More than 60 new gaming companies have been launched in Dubai since the establishment of DPG33.

Gamescom is the world’s largest event for computer and video games, attracting a diverse international community.
