This milestone underlines the growing international interest and speed in figital sports, which combines traditional athletic competition with digital gaming.The Emirates Federation membership recently follows Figital contenders: Abu Dhabi – Football Tournament and comes beyond the future 2025 games. The upcoming program will bring clubs and fiber athletes simultaneously, competing in 11 official subjects for a $ 5 million prize pool.Since its inception, WPC has rapidly expanded to include members of countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia, Lesotho, Malawi and Sierra Leone. What is the world Phygital community?
The World Figital Community is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to promoting figital sports, a hybrid form of athletics that merges the physical activity with digital gaming. The WPC competition determines the rules, supports tournament structures, and connects organizations, athletes and fans worldwide.Phygital games combine traditional sports skills and physical appearance with fast book strategy and digital games engagement. This hybrid format creates new opportunities for competition and community interactions globally.
Core Figital Discipline ruled by WPC
WPC currently oversees four main ranking themes, all mixed physical and digital elements:
- Figital footballL: A virtual starts with a digital match, followed by a physical football competition. Scores from both rounds are combined to determine the winner.
- Figital basketL: Players submit points in physical games and simulator-based digital rounds. Total scores decide the results.
- Phygital Dance: Contestants repeat on-screen dance moves, which was performed by algorithms on accuracy, rhythm and style.
- Phygital shooter: Laser tag combines digital rounds played on in-game maps with physical round, mixing strategy with real-world action.
Beyond these, WPC supports several non-ranking themes including a figital version of racing, hockey, skateboarding, BMX, fighting and cycling. This reflects continuous innovation and expansion within Figital Sports Space.
