Two people have died and two people have been injured in a shooting incident in the county decree.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said that three vehicles participated in the scene at Maguersbridge and the air ambulance was also tasked.
It states that one patient was taken by an air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and the other was taken by an ambulance to the southwest acute hospital.
PSNI has said that Drumor Road is closed for motorists and there is no risk for the public.
Debora Arskin, a member of the Democratic Unionist Party Assembly, urged people not to speculate about the incident, while “the police do their work”.
“It is really shocking and shocked the entire community,” he said.
“The area of Maguersbridge where this has happened is a rural, quiet area and everyone is deeply influenced by what has happened this morning.”
Sin Fen MP Pat Kulen said that “the views are with the victims and their families in this sad time”.
“I will urge people not to speculate on the details of this tragic and shocking incident.”
