Police said that a person was taken to the hospital after a serious attack in the village of Samarset.
Officers were called to Claverham High Street, after reporting a person to be seen with a knife, police said “On arrival, he was found to be a wound like a man”.
An Evon and Summerset Police spokesman confirmed that the victim was rushed to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be life-changing, but there was no threat to life.
Two people, aged 37 and 25, were arrested and remained in police custody, while interrogation was on. A police cordon with high street lives in place.
There are road closures at the road junctions with Franklins Way and Chestnut Drive.
