Trump to visit Texas Flood Zone, meet Netanyahu in a busy week

Trump told the media that he would leave for Texas and meet with the local people destroyed by floods and later assess the loss in the week.

“We wanted to leave a little time,” Trump asked New Jersey on Sunday when asked if he had planned to travel to Texas. “I must have done this today, but we will just be in their way. Perhaps Friday.”

At least 80 people have been killed by the flood, which caught the area on the morning of Independence Day, while at least 41 others are still missing till Monday morning.

“It was something that happened in seconds. Nobody expected it. Nobody saw it. There are very talented people, and they did not see it,” Trump explained. “This is, I think he had said once in 100 years that he has not seen anything like this. I mean, people are trying to blame the school. They are trying to blame the camps. It’s just a terrible thing.”

He wants to save life and however, the main priority for the President also remains to bring all the hostages out of the house from Gaza. As you know, their tireless efforts have brought many hostages home, including all American horses which were held there.”

Tariff talks continue

After announcing the reciprocal tariff on foreign nations in April, the 90 -day stop on the tariff was scheduled to end on 9 July. Trump told reporters from New Jersey on Sunday that his administration would start sending letters to other countries on Monday, informing them that high tariffs will now be effective on August 1.

Treasury Secretary Scott Besant joined Fox News’ Shannon Breame Sunday and told about the deadline of the new August 1, warned that the tariffs would return to April level if foreign countries do not make trade deal until the beginning of August.

“Is it appropriate to say that some of these trading partners have a slight break on the July 9 deadline?” Breame asked.

“I don’t think it’s a little break because I think what has happened is a lot of crowd in the stretch of the house and, as a part of the trade team, what is great about being President Trump in our favor, he takes the maximum advantage,” he replied.

He said, “By telling our business partners that they can return by the date of April 2, I think it is really going to move things with the next few days and weeks,” he said.
