President Donald Trump has announced that the European Union and Mexico will face 30% tariffs on imports from August 1.
He warned that if he decides to retaliate by any of the American business partners, he would impose high imports.
The announcement was made in two letters posted on Trump’s true social website. Similar letters were sent to many other countries this week.
The 27 -member European Union – America’s largest trading partner – said that earlier this week he expected to agree with Washington before 1 August.
