President Donald Trump on Friday announced that he has ordered two nuclear submarines to be deployed in appropriate areas after “highly stimulating statements” made by former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev.
Medvedev said earlier this week that Trump’s new deadline for Russia is an additional “step for war to end the struggle with Ukraine.
“Based on the highly provocative statements of the former Russian President, Dimitri Medvedev, who is now the vice president of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I ordered to deploy two nuclear submarines in appropriate areas, just if these foolish and inflammatory statements are just the same way,” Trump said the truth.
“The words are very important, and often can give rise to unexpected results, I hope it will not be one of those examples,” he said.

There was no immediate response to Trump’s comments from Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry did not respond immediately on Friday to request a comment from Fox News Digital.
Medvedev, now the Vice President of the Security Council of Russia, warned that Trump on Monday announced that Russia would have to end the conflict with Ukraine in 10 to 12 days.
“Playing ultimatum games with Trump Russia: 50 days or 10 … They should remember 2 things: 1. Russia is not Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a danger and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, not between Russian and Ukraine, but with their country,” Medvedev said in a post on Monday. “Don’t go under sleep, which road!”
While Trump announced on July 14 that he would sign “Gambhir Tariff” against Russia, if Moscow failed to agree to a peace agreement within 50 days, Trump said on Monday that it was meaningless to wait for that period of time.
“I am going to create a new time limit of about 10 – 10 or 12 days from today,” Trump told Trump. “There is no reason to wait. It was 50 days. I wanted to be generous, but we are not seeing any progress yet.”

Trump’s comment has come as his frustration with Putin in recent weeks after there was no progress between Russia and Ukraine, and according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia, according to the Ukrainian Air Force, exceeded 300 drones, four cruise missiles and three ballistic missiles in Ukraine, just a day after.
Trump has also written on Truth Social Friday that “I have just been informed that around 20,000 Russian soldiers died this month in a ridiculous war with Ukraine.

The President said, “Russia has lost 112,500 soldiers from the beginning of the year. It is a lot of unnecessary death! Ukraine, however, is also a lot of suffering. They have lost about 8,000 soldiers since January 1, 2025, and the number is not involved,” the President said. “Ukraine has also lost citizens, but in small numbers, as Russian rocket kiev, and other Ukrainian locations have crashed. It’s a war that would never have happened – this is the Biden’s war, not ‘Trump’. I am just here to see if I can stop it!”
