President Donald Trump on Thursday collided with a reporter on questions about a new signed tariff, stating that he spent his first term “Lunatics Fighting Lunetics”. The Intens Exchange follows a white house signature ceremony for a series of executive functions aimed at expanding mutual tariffs and strengthening the American trade policy.
Talking with reporters at the White House after signing, a reporter faced Trump as to why he was putting more emphasis on tariffs in his second term.
The reporter said, “You are weighing your decision to do so, you have the right to do so on the basis of the 1977 law. It was never done before.” “Why didn’t you make this law a lot in your first term? You could take billions of dollars in your first term, but you waited for your second term?”

Without remembering a beet, the President shot back: “Yes, because in my first term, I was fighting luune like you who were trying to do things wrongly and unfairly to a President who was duly elected.”
“And we did some tariffs in the first term,” he continued. “If you look at China, China, we took hundreds of billions of dollars from China.”
He also said that the Kovid -19 epidemic also played a factor in his decision not to insist on tariffs in his first term.
“When Kovid came the last thing, I was going to tell France and Italy and Spain and some other countries, which we are going to kill you with tariffs,” he explained. “We had to fight the Kovid situation when he came.”

He said, “So, we have a tariff of 15%. We have the inauguration of all European countries, which I think I could say I was essentially closed. I mean, you were not really taking our orders. You were not really taking our agriculture,” he said while addressing Von der Leyen.
