US President Donald Trump has urged Brazilian officials to abolish their prosecution of former President of the country Zayer Bolsoro, accusing them of “witch hunting”.

Trump said, “This is nothing more or less than an attack on a political opponent – something that I know a lot! It happened to me, 10 times,” Trump said.
Bolsono thanked Trump for his comments, describing the case as “clear political oppression” in a social media post against him.
Responding to Trump’s comments, the Minister of Institutional Affairs Glissy Hoffman said: “When Brazil was subject to America, it was the time of Bolsonaro.”
He said, “The US President should take care of his problems, which are no less, and respect the sovereignty of Brazil and our judiciary,” he said.
