President Donald Trump on Monday confirmed that the US agreed to sell weapons to NATO when he said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had 50 days to face a peace deal with Ukraine or “100%” tariff.
NATO general secretary Mark Rute said that Trump on Thursday called him to confirm that he wanted to enter a deal with NATO colleagues to sell arms for help in Ukraine.
Trump said the billion -dollar weapons would be purchased from colleagues such as Germany, Finland and Denmark who would “quickly distribute” Ukraine.

“It is really big,” Rute told reporters of the Oval office sitting with Trump.
Rute, who said that the decision was made on the “tremendous success” of the previous month’s NATO summit, when almost every nation in the alliance agreed to increase its defense spending to reach 5% of its country’s GDP, called “logical”.
