First on Fox: chairman Donald Trump’s The Homeland Security Department (DHS) sent administrative subputna to Harvard University today on information related to criminality and misconduct of foreign students in its premises.
The agency criticized Harvard’s student and exchange visitor program (SEVP) with previous information requests, “refusal to refuse” the IV League School, which provides visas for non-citizens to study in the US.
“We tried to do things with Harvard in an easy way with Harvard,” DHS Assistant Secretary Trisia McLaglin told Fox News Digital. “Now, through refusal to cooperate, we have to do things in a hard way. Like Harvard, other universities, allowed foreign students to misuse their visa privileges and advocate violence and terrorism in the campus.”
