After a tractor fell from a bridge and after an accident, a person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after the central reservation of M20 at Kent.
Kent police said that on Monday, around 11:15 BST was asked for a two-vehicle accident on the A227 overbridge near Vrotam.
The part of the M20 was closed in both directions some time before noon and at 12:40 national highways, stated that the road was closed in both directions between the junction three, near Edington, and near Junction One, Swanley.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said that the crew had evacuated a person and the road was expected to be closed for four to six hours.
Traffic Information Suppliers Inrich said that the accident included a lorry.
National highways have urged drivers to give extra time to their journey when traveling in the area.
South East Coast Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex have been contacted for comment.
