The state police said that five people were killed after a tour bus with more than 50 passengers and rolled on a major highway in Western New York on Friday.
Police said the bus was traveling from Niagra Falls to New York City. It was going to the east on the New York State Throw near Pambroke, about 30 miles north of Buffalo and 40 miles south -southeast from Niagra Falls.
“For unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control, went into the middle, over and ended in the ditch,” said the state’s soldier James O’Kalaghan. He said that the bus was going at full speed, but did not kill any other vehicle.
Police said five passengers died as a result of the accident, and none of the passengers who died were involved. Passengers in the bus were at the age of 1 to 74 years.
The bus was carrying 54 people, including two employees of the company, New York State Police said on Friday. The bus company working during the accident was M&Y Tour Inc..
Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but a mechanical failure and the operator’s loss has been rejected. According to officials, the bus driver has been cooperative and no allegations have been made.

The Eri County Medical Center, A Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, said that he found 24 patients from the accident scene, including two and two in the surgery which were in the intensive care unit. On Saturday morning, ECMC stated that “more than 10” patients were received, discharged on Friday evening. The United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, New York, said it found two patients, who were treated and released. The hospital said it did not expect to receive any additional patients.
Six patients of the accident were being treated at Rochester Medical Center University. The hospital said two are being treated for significant injuries and four are medically stable, including a pediatric patient.
A non -profit emergency air medical transport provider, Mercy Flight, said that it had taken many patients in hospitals.
The nationality of most people in the bus was Indian, Chinese and Filipino, O’Kalaghan said.
Due to the accident, the New York State Thrway was closed in both directions between 48A and 49.
“Please avoid all local roads near the scene as the traffic is being removed from the throwway (interstate 90) in both directions,” Eri County Executive Officer Mark Polonkarz Said on social media,
