Sir James told BBC Radio 4 that the Prime Minister on Monday “extended” the situation that “a lot of houses were available” for the increasing number of homeless people and refugee.
The Conservative MP told the Today program, “This is the kind of disconnect that I think is running the real disappointment and this is what I want to address.”
Labor, which promised to distribute 1.5 million houses, stated that the country was still living with “Toryse” results “” “disastrous decisions to eliminate compulsory housing goals”.
A labor spokesperson said: “While labor is working in partnership with areas to turn the tide over acute and rescued housing crisis, conservatives have not changed and they did not once apologize for the dirt he had left behind.”
Sir James kicked his new job with Tory leader Kemi Badenoch with a visit to a housing project in Hillingdon, North London, who gave him a role in his top team’s reshuffle on Tuesday.
Former Foreign Secretary and Home Secretary has been on the backbench since losing to Badenoch in last year’s Tory Leadership Competition.
His new role makes him an opposition counterpart of Angela Rener in brief of his housing, communities and local government, but not in his Deputy Prime Minister’s post.
Sir James told the Today’s program: “We have got a government that has made big promises when he came to housebuilding and is fabulous to fulfill the promises and is causing great disappointment, especially waiting to go to the ladder of the housing with young people.”
He said that “it was claimed by the Prime Minister sitting in the contact committee that there are many additional houses for the shelter seekers, while people are struggling to go to the ladder of the house”.
He was referring to the comments made by the Prime Minister on Monday, when he was being grilled by the contact committee, which is made up of the chairman of the selection committee.
Labor MP Dame Meg Hilier, who presided over the Treasury Committee, asked the PM where the government was going to give homes to the homeless people, given that the price of temporary housing was inspired by the need of shelters.
He replied: “Oh, a lot of housing and many local authorities can be used, and we are identifying where it can be used.”
Pressed for specific examples, Sir Kir said he would write to the committee.
The government has said that it wants to work in partnership with the councils and June Home Office Minster Angela Eagle Said that it was looking to buy tower blocks and alumni housing The migrants of the house as a hotel option.
In his today’s interview, Sir James was asked about the performance outside the hotel, believing that the housing is refugee.
Epting, Essex has a series of protests outside the Bell Hotel, as a refugee seeker was accused of sexual harassment.
“I understand the desire to protest,” he said.
“There is never any excuse for the riots and we are seeing that both the agitators, left and right, are trying on these communities and stirring things and there is never any excuse for this, but I think I think the locals are disappointed.”
Sir James was also asked to leave the European Convention on Human Rights (Echr), Badenoch launched a review to investigate the issue,
He would not say what, such as Badenocch, was also “from the point of view that Britain should leave the International Human Rights Treaty.
He told the BBC that it would “be a silver bullet”, but if the review party policy is made then it follows it.
Badenoch echoed his point saying to reporters: “If they didn’t agree with me, I will not bring anyone to the shadow cabinet.”
