New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will reach another milestone in his career on Friday, when he will overtake Indira Gandhi’s 48 -year record, which will work for the second consecutive time as PM. Modi will complete 4,078 days in the office to overtake Indira’s 4,077 days from January 24, 1966 to March 24, 1977.Only Jawaharlal Nehru, a long run after the first general election in 1952 – from April 1952 to May 27, 1964. Modi, who worked as a Gujarat CM for 13 years, set a record of being PM with the longest -run chief among the holders of the top office. He led the BJP for three consecutive wins in Gujarat in 2002, 2007 and 2012. Taking his party at the top of three consecutive Lok Sabha elections, he also achieved the achievement at the center – 2014, 2019 and 2024.
