Officer Pandet told PTI that the hotel, guest house, homestay and other such facilities will have to be registered on the first portal and register their guests at the time of check-in.
This new rule has been introduced as the number of double tourists in the city between 2022 and 2024. Brijendra Pandey also said that the new system will provide real -time data on tourist footfalls in the city.
This is being done to deal with congestion and traffic management in Mussoorie, which attracts thousands of tourists.
