A wildlife park welcomed a young tiger after the announcement of the death of the last rest of the attraction earlier this year.
Sumatra, a two -year -old Sumatra named Raja, arrived safely at Thrigbi Hall Wildlife Garden at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk from Frankfurt Zoo in Germany.
In March, zoo Declared death 13 -year -old Tiger Kubu, who joined the park in September 2013.
Scott Bird, Zoological Director of Thrigbie Hall said: “He is a beautiful young tiger and a magnificent ambassador for his species. We are incredibly grateful to our supporters for our patience and cannot wait to meet them.”
The park said that the global species for King Sumatra Tigers was part of the management program, with less than 400 left in the wild.
It said that the animal had already left an impression with its curious nature and confident character, and represented a “exciting new chapter” for the residence of the park tigers.
The king is later involved by a female Sumatran Tiger as part of a reproductive program by a female Sumtran Tiger, to help protect the future of the species.
