Massey and Khanna announced the step during a joint appearance on the ABC news “this week” with hosts Jonathan Carl. In addition to the call for the subponus, the pair’s law will force a house vote on the release of the government’s Epstein files.

Massey also said that Americans were written to Epstein in 2003 by Birthday letter President Donald Trump. The letter was first reported by the Wall Street Journal, but Trump denied that it exists and sued paper for defamation.

MPs say that their law will force Epstein Estate and the federal government to release all the files related to Epstein’s crimes.
“This will force the complete release of the files. It has the force of the law. It is not a subtype. It’s not a beautiful, will you release the files? ‘ This is the force of law and to resume and stop the names of the victims, you know, to release child pornography, “Massey said.

House speaker Mike Johnson launched a day earlier last week and avoided a scheduled vote on the law. Johnson appeared on NBC news “Meat the Press” on Sunday and called Massey and Khanna “careless” to carry forward the law.
He argued that he was in favor of “maximum disclosure” for Epstein files, but claimed that the laws of Mata and Khanna lack security measures.

Many Republicans have criticized Democrats to focus so much on Epstein case, now it has become an issue for the White House. Critics say the Democrats are taking the subject after years of showing very little interest on the issue, although Khanna denies those claims.

“We are insisting on transparency during the Biden administration. Both in 2021 and 2024, the court ordered the release of the documents, but Donald Trump bets on, and he did a way in the campaign that was appropriate,” he said, “Look, I am going to issue the files,” Khanna told ABC.
