EE Bah Gum It’s Yorkshire Day – An annual celebration of England’s largest county, and the birthplace of notable figures like Bronte Sisters, singer Louis Louis Tominson and artist David Hawkney.
The day was first celebrated on 1 August 1975 in an attempt to restore pride in the entire region.
This year, Ilkle will host official civic celebrations, Centerpieces of Yorkshire Day, Bradford, UK City of Culture 2025 as well as hosts.
We asked people at the neighboring Lincolnshire – the so -called yellobels – what they thought about “Gods on County” and Visa Varusa.
Both County have several North Sea holiday resorts, including scales in Lincolnshire and Whitbi in North Yorkshire.

But, flying the flag for Yelobelase, he said the best thing about Yorkshire was close with Lincolnshire.
He also jokingly said that Nottinghamshire was his second favorite.

Chutney seller Martin Hallbrows said that he often reaches the border to participate in farmers’ markets, and likes it a lot, but he said that he was proud to call East Yorkshire at his home.

When told that she was remembering some of the best beaches anywhere in the ground, she said: “I have a lot of doubt – Brijalington is very good.”
Another woman said that she knew that County was famous for her vegetables.
Shopkeeper Mark Edwards expressed the Yorkshire mood and said: “I lived in Lincolnshire, but came back to Yorkshire because it’s much better.”
However, cheese seller Anita Jepson offered more diplomatic approaches.
“There are beautiful, beautiful rural areas, beautiful people anywhere in Britain,” she said.
“We have a good Lincolnshire Paneer at the stall – so we like to promote everyone,” he said.
