According to officials, a woman died over the weekend after a fall of a hiking mark in Northern Carolina, after a short -standing mark.
The 29 -year -old Astrid Angelina Madrid Tikas was identified as the victim, who fell near Northern Carolina in Big Bradley Falls at 1:30 pm on Sunday, written by Polic County officials in a news release on Monday.
“As a community, the Polk County expresses her heartfelt condolences to Ms. Tikas’s family and loved ones during this difficult time,” County said.

Officers were called to the Big Bradley Falls Trailhead in Holbert Cove Road, Saluda, in which Saluda Fire and Rescue, Mill Spring Fire Department, Poles County Emergency Management and Polk County Sheriff Office were sent to the scene.
County wrote in the first release on Sunday, “On arrival, the crew found that a mid-20-year-old woman’s estimate was estimated at 75 to 100 feet. Unfortunately, she bowed to her injuries at the scene.”
Rescue personnel worked diligently to fix the victim, County said, saying that it urges the public to take precautions while visiting trails and natural areas.

It is not clear how the woman collapsed.
According to the Big Bradley Falls Blue Ridge Mountain Life website, Saluda has a 75 -foot waterfall located in a small gorge with Kov Creek.
“Big Bradley Falls is a grand waterfall that is difficult to arrive, and is dangerous to look at some extent. The base of the falls requires an increase under a steep footpath, followed by a 20 -foot rope under a rock under a rock,” the website said.

On Sunday, another victim died in a separate waterfall in the state after a week. According to Burke County Emergency Services, 25 -year -old Yosef Alabdulwab was submerged at the National Forest on the basis of steel creek falls. Steel Creek Falls is about 75 miles from Big Bradley Falls.
