First on Fox: The Foreign Department is starting a new, the “US First” Rebranding initiative, which portrays the American flag under a unique one to consolidate all logo to its offices – an attempt that aligns with the large -scale overhal plans of the agency.
While separate logos for offices including embassies, bureau and programs under the US Agency for International Development were previously present, Rebranding efforts try to establish “coherent branding” in all these platforms to reflect American contribution abroad, according to an official of the State Department.
“Readesine is very simple, and it was recently to re -acquire the visual identity of American efforts abroad in the US flag and re -anchor,” Darren Beatty, the Undercrappress for public diplomacy in the State Department told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

Beatti said inconsistent branding in the offices and programs of the State Department means that American efforts are sometimes widely recognized abroad, while in other countries there is uniformity in branding, more and more credit is obtained.
“There are some things you see it, and you have no clue that is associated with the United States government, and it is clearly contrary to our objectives,” Beatty said. “If we are making some great contribution abroad, we want positivity and that contribution to be immediately separated because there is something related to the United States.”
The state department started guidance on Rebranding efforts on Wednesday – Secretary of State Secretary Marco Rubio announced that USAID would not continue to provide foreign aid officially.

Fox News Digital had first stated in March that the state department would absorb the remaining works from the earlier independent organization, which provided assistance to poor countries and development assistance.
According to Beatti, Rebranding efforts in the offices and bureau of the Department of State have been complied with for 1 October.
This effort already tries to complement the reorganization of the state department, which has been said by the authorities that the agency has the largest restructuring since the Cold War.
Rubio unveiled plans to rebuild the agency in April as the department was “bureaucratic and unable to do its essential diplomatic mission.”
Additionally, Rubio told MPs on the sub -committee of Senate Appropriations, overseeing foreign affairs in May, that the purpose of restructuring is to empower the regional bureau and embassies “who are responsible for leading the” best innovations “.

Rubio told MPs, “They are identifying problems and opportunities before some memorandum that do their work for me.” “We want to go back to a situation or we want to go into a situation where we are strengthening ideas and action at the level of the embassy and through our regional bureau. They are truly an forward lines of American diplomacy. And so we have structured a foreign department that can distribute on it.”

Fox News Digital first stated in May that the agency’s restructuring plans would include more than 300 cuttings or consolidations from the agency’s 700 offices and bureau in an attempt to streamline operations.
Reorganization involves an axes of about 3,400 foreign department personnel, which is about 15% to 20% of the agency’s domestic headcon, the officials of the Foreign Department had earlier told Fox News Digital.
