The Malcolm-Jamal Warner, an actor, who is known for his role as Theo Huxable in the Cosby show, has died.
Warner, who was 54 years old, drowned on holiday in Costa Rica on Sunday.
Costa Rica’s judicial investigative agency confirmed the death in a press release.
Local authorities said that Warner had dragged the sea with a current while swimming in Playa Grande, which floats in a city cochls in Limon Province in 14: 00–14: 30 local time.
Warner played the son of Bill Cosby in the US SECM from 1984–1992.
Officials said Bostanders rescued Warner and brought him to the shore, where Costa Ricon Red Cross treated him.
But he was declared dead on the spot.
Warner was in 1986 at the COSBI show Amy-Namikal in a comedy series for his work for his work.
He was handed over to his breakout role by Cosby on the last day of a nationwide audition.
After the Cosby show, Warner appeared in several other television programs including Malom and Eddie with Comedian Eddie Griffin.
He had a guest appearance on the new prince of Bell-Air and Til Street. Recently, he played the role of AJ Austin, a cardio-thoracic surgeon on the medical drama series The Resident.
Warner also won a grammy for the best traditional R&B performance in 2015, with Robert Glasser and Lala Hathaway to the US covers of Jesus of Stave Wonder.
His spoken Word album “Hiding in Plane View” received him another Grammy nomination in 2023.
