The party’s atmosphere is again catching West London due to the closure of the main parade on the second day of Notting Hill Carnival.
Color costumes, dance and music filled the streets of West London For Children’s Day of Europe’s largest street party on Sunday, and the spectacle on Monday will continue.
Carnival, which celebrates the Caribbean culture and history, has been in operation for more than 50 years.
Carnival-Goer Jeff Sam, 74, said: “We are here to enjoy ourselves and we know it is going to be a great day, something that you never dreams in your life.
“You are going to see Brazil’s band, you’re going to see Caribbean Bands, you are going to see bands around the world and performing in beautiful costumes.”
Derilio Alexander, 33, which is usually located in Amsterdam, stated that he was performing at the Carnival with Aboni Steel Band.
“This is a big party,” he said. “We are going to expose that place. It is always a pleasure to stay here and we are going to talk.”
More than a million people are expected to attend the event.
