The fire service has said that many people have been injured after the collapse of an outer ladder on a block of flats.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) said that the incident at St. Ewes was reported on Sunday 19:00 just before BST.
Along with the South Western ambulance service and Devon and Cornwal Police, a city fireworks participated in the scene.
A CFRS spokesman said the crew assisted paramedics with “number of casualties”. No further details have been released by emergency services.
