“It is like everyone’s suburban nightmare,” writer Richard Cohen told Fox News Digital. “This mother of five in the midst of a very bad divorce – one of the most terrible divorce in the history of the Connecticut state – the most worldly thing you can imagine. She leaves her five children. [at school] And is never seen again.”
Cohen’s new book, titled “Murder in the Dolhouse: The Jennifer Dulos Story,” delays in Death Investigation that snatched the rich suburban neighborhood, and led countless twists and turns.
“I was interested for the first time [Dulos’ story] Because, even with the arrest warrant, the news was reporting the top line or the first paragraph, “Cohen said.” Whereas when you joined it, it was all these situations of life that live and all my friends live -child’s sports, practices, rights of parents, rights of parents, which schools and towns are winning, who is winning, who is below, which is below, which is, which is, which is, who is, who is, who is, who is, who is below, which is below, who is below, who is below, who is below, who is below, who is below, who is below,
A new person of interest in the documentary emerges when the Iowa news anchor disappears decades old.

But for Cohen, Jennifer remained a central man in a story, which removed the curtain that appeared as a normal family.
“I found that Jennifer was converted into just one victim,” Cohen said. “Like a two-dimensional character that stood for something.”
Before becoming the mother of five, Jennifer worked as a playwright in New York City. Cohen pointed to his dream of creating a life-shaped dollhouse for inspiration behind the title of the book.

Cohen said, “When she was a little girl, she had this passion with the dollhouse.” “This was the idea of creating a real dolhouse and building this fantasy for real.”
At the time of her disappearance, Jennifer believed in curing a dream on domestic life – a dream that Cohen believes that she was “struggling to give up”.
Jennifer’s bizarre, suburban life story took a terrible turn when officials say she returned from leaving her children to wait for her husband to wait inside her house.
20 years after Natalie Holowway disappears, the confession of the suspect still leaves the question: Pai
Police allege that Photis Dulos attacked his wife in his garage before driving with his body.
“It begins as a missing person case, and then it becomes a case of a missing body,” Cohen told Fox News Digital. “His garage is enough to determine his own blood to determine that he was brutally murdered.”
Seven months after the disappearance, Photis was arrested and accused of murder.
But three weeks later in the case, a turn was a twist when investigators discovered the photos inside their house in an apparent suicide attempt.

In a note with him, he announced “his innocence of notorious and heinous crimes, accusing him and claimed that his lawyers had evidence to prove this,” his lawyers filed in a court.
Photis was transferred to a nearby medical center in New York City, where he later died.
“I found her chilling,” Cohen said. “As I came into the story, I really believed that he was a psychopath.”
Parents believe that the daughter, who disappeared from the cruise ship 27 years ago, is still alive.
Cohen pointed to his wife to a potential financial motivations around the wedding of Photis, who came from a rich family.
At the time of Jennifer’s disappearance, her husband was in $ 7 million debt and would be able to reach the children’s part of the trust fund when he died according to the investigators. However, Photis denied the allegation.
“So when she met Jennifer, she was with a rich family, was well connected and had a lot of money,” Cohen said. “She could help him find what she wanted to start a business.”

Cohen suggested that Photis eventually found what he wanted from the couple’s wedding and wanted to run away with his girlfriend, Michelle Trokonis.
“He wanted this second life and he was again an object,” Cohen said. “And she was blocking what she wanted. So the solution for her was to remove her.”
Troconis, along with Attorney Kent Mawani, was also arrested and after conspiring to kill the police, it was alleged that he helped cover his wife’s disappearance while working to build an Alibi.

Last year, Troconis was found guilty of all the allegations filed against him, conspiring to kill Jennifer. He was sentenced to 20 years in jail.
“This is another attempt to benefit the latest book, before it, the tragedy, speculation and sensationalism,” Troconis’ counsel, Darnell Crusaleland said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Michelle Trokonis has been provoked on the basis of ignoring those stories and evidence over the years. She continues to maintain her innocence and is ready to clean her name through appropriate legal channels, not to the public opinion or a tabloid-style publication pages.”
Mawhinney convicted a low allegation of interfering with the police in the case and sentenced to 11 months jail – equal to the amount of that time he had already spent behind bars.
Mawhinney did not immediately respond to the request of Fox News Digital for comments.
Despite the two convicts, Jennifer’s body was never recovered and was declared legally dead in 2023 – a result that Cohen believes that is an unjust end for the already devastated family.

Cohen told Fox News Digital, “This woman is killed in the head of her life and her children are not seen growing up.” “Her children do not get a mother, a father does not get and a very difficult heritage. Because your mother’s legacy was killed by your father, who, then, in a fit of self-reproach and fear, killed himself? So justice can be done, but a proper punishment is-and it is best we can do.”
