Nearly a decade later, a person was convicted of killing a Tenasi nursing student, asking a judge for a new case, which cited the entry of a major witness when testified.
20 -year -old Holi Bobo disappeared from its rural house in 2011, extended a comprehensive discovery, which ended with her body over three years later.
Zachari Adams and two others were accused of kidnapping, rape and murder of Bobo, Edams selected the only defendant to go into a trial. He was later convicted of all allegations in 2017 and sentenced to life in jail and additional 50 years.

During the testing of Adams, major witness Jason Autri spoke in graphic detail about how Bobo was kidnapped and raped before wrapping in a blanket, thrown behind a pickup truck and hit under a bridge near a local river.
“It seemed, boom, boom, boom, under that bridge,” Autri told the jury. “It was just a shot, but it echoed. The birds went everywhere, all under that bridge.
Since investigators never found DNA evidence connecting Adams to Bobo, the prosecution mainly trusted the testimony of witnesses and fellow prisoners of Adams, who claimed that he spoke about hurting Bobo after murder.

The dramatic testing included emotional testimony, Bobo’s mother Karen collapsed at the witness stand.
Autri later convicted the judge for less allegations after his praise for his testimony, and was sentenced to eight years in jail. He was released in 2020.
Adams’s brother, John Dylan Adams also convicted and was sentenced to 35 years in jail.
However, filing known as a Kram Nobis petition in the 2024 court, Zachari Adams revealed that the Autri was restarting its testimony and asked to conduct a new test. Adams claimed that Autri had coined his story in an attempt to keep himself out of jail.
