Cincinnati police chief Teresa Thetage later revealed that out of about 100 people who saw or involved in the fight, only one was called law enforcement.
“This is unacceptable not to call the police,” the Thete said. “Traffic was frightening. People saw it. They were fighting in front of traffic. Why did people not call us?”
During a news conference on Friday, Thetage called The Broll “an act of violence that shook us all.” He also vowed that all those involved in the attack would be held accountable, and repeated the public call to the public to alert law enforcement when the violence is seen.

“When I say this, I believe: whether the Cincinnati Police Department was informed in real time, our authorities would have responded with urgency and force to protect life,” Thetage said at the news conference on Friday.
The FBI and the Department of Justice have confirmed an open federal inquiry in Beetdown.
The Federal Law Enforcement Group told Fox News Digital on July 30, “The FBI is closely coordinating with the Cincinnati Police Department on the matter.”
