A family’s wealth for the funeral of a four -year -old boy, which collided with a bus, has increased over 5,500 in more than a day.
Zahir Jana died after an accident outside Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital of Margate, Kent, on Thursday at around 16:00 BST.
The boy went to the hospital to meet his grandmother.
Jahir’s father Navid Faizy told the BBC on Saturday: “This was the saddest day of my life – that was my heart.”
He said: “He was the most cute, clever, holy boy. I am a tire fitter and he always wanted to work with me.
“As soon as I got a call, my day turned into a nightmare. I wish I was there to stop him from running.”
Mr. Pheji said that he wanted to warn the other parents to “go out for their children when they were running out because they are children”.
Zahir’s mother Azaria launched a gofundme page, with “a sweet, funny boy with a chutli smile that could fulfill someone’s heart”.
On the appeal page, he wrote: “I am very lost, he was my son, my most beautiful small person.
“I don’t know what to do, I can’t believe you have gone to me. I didn’t even get how much I love you.
“The smile we cannot see again. Can’t catch it.
“But I can try to give him the best and most comfortable burial.”
On Friday, Azaria and other family members arrived outside the hospital, where he died.
Blankets, flowers, sweets and letters were placed in a monument area.
Kent police said the boy left the hospital before the accident.
The force said he was taken back inside, but died after a while.
The investigators of the serious collision investigation unit have requested anyone to come forward with relevant information.
